Community Based Tourism Development Project

The Community Based Tourism Project is a CIDA sponsored project that aims to reduce poverty and increase quality of life through tourism training and capacity building. Training was done by Hanoi Open University (Hanoi, Vietnam), Capilano College (Canada) and North Island College (Canada) students and faculty in the following areas: English, Food Safety, Guiding and First Aid, Sanitation and Maintenance, HIV / AIDS Awareness and Product Development.
